RGB LED Pixel Strings/Nodes

RGB LED Pixel Strings/Nodes is commonly used in holiday decoration and Sign Displays, each Pixel/Node can be controlled individually by controller using various communications protocols. Each Pixel uses 3 data channels to control it, one each for Red, Green and Blue. A string of 50 Pixels would use 150 channels in your sequencing software. (by www.bintekled.com)

The kind of LED string lights is good for Christmas decoration , it can be wrapped around the Christmas tree become color changing LED Christmas tree lights. Because it is waterproof, which can be used in outdoor Christmas decorations or Christmas light show . 

* There are several main properties that define each Pixel, and they include:

1. Form Factor for the RGB LED Pixel Strings

Bullet type ( 12mm Bullet Type LED Pixel String/Node )

Square type (12mm Square LED Pixel String/Node)

or other specified form factor .

2. LEDs Spacing between Each Node of RGB Pixles

Normally the spacing between each node is 4" or 6" , or other specified

spacing.

3.Power Supply Voltage for Smart Pixel Strings

Typically 5VDC vs. 12 VDC

4. Color Depth 

The number of bits of data used to control each color such as 4,6,8 12 bits Etc.

5. Waterproofing for RGB LED Stings

Typically IP65 , IP67 and  IP68.

6. Wire Size for Pixel Strings

The size of the wire connecting the Pixels together 18 AWG vs. 20AWG

7. Pixel (IC)Control chips for the Pixel Node

WS2801, WS2811, UCS1903, TM1809, TM1824 Etc.

8. Number of Wires Required 

Normally 3 wires vs 4 wires

Panel Light Shape , Size and Structure

Panel Light , it may be called as LED panel or ceiling panel . Mostly , it is for office use

to replace the drop-down ceiling troffers . 

The most common use shape as shown on below pictures, which is square and rectangle, generally, power range from 20W to 72W for different applications or size of the room .

Normally, the power of LED panel downlight range from 3W to 24W , size from Ø85 to
